Taltirelin is a synthetic analogue of thyrotropin-releasing hormone (TRH) used to alleviate symptoms of ataxia in patients with spinocerebellar degeneration.
Indications for Use:
- Spinocerebellar Degeneration:
- Symptomatic improvement of ataxia, including:
- Impaired coordination of movements.
- Gait instability.
- Changes in speech.
- Abnormal eye movements (nystagmus or other ocular motility disorders).

- Hypersensitivity to taltirelin or any components of the drug.
- Pregnancy and Breastfeeding: Use is not recommended due to insufficient safety data.
- Pediatric Use: Safety and efficacy have not been established in children.

- Headache, dizziness, drowsiness.
