Stronger Neo-Minophagen C is an injectable medication containing glycyrrhizin, glycine, and L-cysteine hydrochloride, used to enhance liver function in chronic liver diseases and treat certain dermatological conditions.
Indications for Use:
- Liver Function Support:
- Improves liver function in chronic liver diseases.
- Skin Disorders:
- Eczema, dermatitis, urticaria, pruritus (itching).
- Toxicoderma, stomatitis, strofulus, psoriasis.
Contraindications:
- Hypersensitivity to any components of the drug.
- Hypokalemia.
- Myopathy.
- Hypertension.
Side Effects:
- Cardiovascular System:
- Elevated blood pressure.
- Metabolic Effects:
- Reduced serum potassium levels (hypokalemia).
- Gastrointestinal System:
- Upper abdominal pain.
- Allergic Reactions:
- Anaphylactic shock and other anaphylactic reactions (rare but severe).
Special Instructions:
- Condition Monitoring:
- Regularly monitor serum potassium levels and blood pressure, particularly during prolonged use.
- Elderly Patients:
- Increased risk of hypokalemia; use with caution and under close supervision.
