Active ingredient
- Monoammonium glycyrrhizinate: 53 mg (equivalent to 40 mg glycyrrhizine).
- Glycine: 400 mg.
- L-cysteine hydrochloride: 20 mg.
Dosage
For chronic liver diseases:
- Intravenously: 40 ml of the drug daily.
- Drip infusion: 40 ml of the drug diluted in 250 ml of saline or glucose solution.
- Dose adjustment: depending on the age and symptoms of the patient, the dose can be increased to 100 ml per day.
For skin diseases:
- Intravenously: 20 ml of the drug daily.
Stronger Neo-Minophagen C is an injectable medication containing glycyrrhizin, glycine, and L-cysteine hydrochloride, used to enhance liver function in chronic liver diseases and treat certain dermatological conditions.
Indications for Use:
- Liver Function Support:
- Improves liver function in chronic liver diseases.
- Skin Disorders:
- Eczema, dermatitis, urticaria, pruritus (itching).
- Toxicoderma, stomatitis, strofulus, psoriasis.
Contraindications:
- Hypersensitivity to any components of the drug.
- Hypokalemia.
- Myopathy.
- Hypertension.
Side Effects:
- Cardiovascular System:
- Elevated blood pressure.
- Metabolic Effects:
- Reduced serum potassium levels (hypokalemia).
- Gastrointestinal System:
- Upper abdominal pain.
- Allergic Reactions:
- Anaphylactic shock and other anaphylactic reactions (rare but severe).
