Active ingredient
Tandospirone is a selective 5-HT₁A receptor agonist with an anxiolytic effect without a pronounced sedative effect.
Dosage
- Recommended dose: 10 mg 3 times a day.
- The maximum daily dose is 60 mg.
- Duration of therapy: individual, but not less than 12 months.
- Withdrawal of the drug: gradual, under the supervision of a doctor to avoid withdrawal syndrome.
Sediel is the trade name of a medication containing tandospirone, an anxiolytic (anti-anxiety drug) that belongs to the azapirone class.
Indications for Use:
- Anxiety Disorders.
- Depressive States:
- Including mild to moderate forms of depression.
- Vegetative Vascular Dystonia (VVD).
- Dysthymia:
- A chronic form of low-grade depression.
- Bruxism:
- Involuntary teeth grinding, often associated with stress or anxiety.
- Alcohol Dependence:
- Including management of withdrawal symptoms.
Contraindications:
- Known hypersensitivity to tandospirone or any components of the drug.
- Severe Liver or Kidney Diseases.
- Cardiovascular Pathologies:
- Conditions where the use of anxiolytics is contraindicated.
- Pregnancy and Breastfeeding: Use is not recommended.
- Pediatric Use: Not indicated for children.
