Sediel is the trade name of a medication containing tandospirone, an anxiolytic (anti-anxiety drug) that belongs to the azapirone class.

Indications for Use:

1. Anxiety Disorders.
2. Depressive States:
   • Including mild to moderate forms of depression.
3. Vegetative Vascular Dystonia (VVD).
4. Dysthymia:
   • A chronic form of low-grade depression.
5. Bruxism:
   • Involuntary teeth grinding, often associated with stress or anxiety.
6. Alcohol Dependence:
   • Including management of withdrawal symptoms.

Contraindications:

• Known hypersensitivity to tandospirone or any components of the drug.
• Severe Liver or Kidney Diseases.
• Cardiovascular Pathologies:
  • Conditions where the use of anxiolytics is contraindicated.
• Pregnancy and Breastfeeding: Use is not recommended.
• Pediatric Use: Not indicated for children.

Side Effects:

1. Gastrointestinal System:
   • Nausea, vomiting, dry mouth.
2. Nervous System:
   • Dizziness, drowsiness, headache.
3. Allergic Reactions:
   • Skin rash, pruritus (itching).
4. Other:
   • Decreased libido, increased fatigue.

Special Instructions:

1. Alcohol Interaction:
   • Alcohol consumption should be avoided during treatment to prevent enhanced sedative effects.
2. Driving and Machinery Use:
   • Exercise caution when driving or operating machinery due to potential drowsiness and reduced concentration.
