Rocaltrol for Injection contains calcitriol, the active form of vitamin D₃. It is used to manage conditions involving disrupted calcium and phosphorus metabolism.

Indications for Use:

  1. Hypocalcemia:
    • In patients undergoing chronic hemodialysis.
  2. Secondary Hyperparathyroidism and Metabolic Bone Disorders:
    • Associated with chronic renal failure.

Contraindications:

  • Hypercalcemia.
  • Known hypersensitivity to calcitriol, vitamin D, or its analogs.

Side Effects:
