Mucosta Ophthalmic Suspension UD 2% is an ophthalmic medication containing rebamipide, designed for the treatment of dry eye syndrome.
Indications for Use:
- Dry Eye Syndrome:
- To improve the condition of the corneal epithelium associated with dry eyes.
Contraindications:
- Known hypersensitivity to rebamipide or any other components of the medication.
Side Effects:
- Ocular Reactions:
- Increased tearing.
- Excess discharge from the eyes.
- Discomfort in the eyes.
- Redness and swelling in the inner corner of the eye.
- Pain in the affected area.
- Allergic Reactions:
- Skin rash, pruritus (itching).
Special Instructions:
- Contact Lenses:
- The active ingredient may be adsorbed onto soft contact lenses. If discomfort occurs, discontinue lens use and consult an ophthalmologist.
- Pregnancy and Lactation:
- Use only if prescribed by a healthcare provider and when clearly indicated.
- Driving and Machinery Operation:
- Temporary blurred vision may occur after instillation. Refrain from driving or operating machinery until vision clarity is fully restored.
- Consultation Recommended:
- Before using Mucosta Ophthalmic Suspension UD 2%, consult an ophthalmologist to evaluate the appropriateness of treatment and determine the optimal dosage. Self-medication is not recommended and may lead to adverse outcomes.
- Eye suspension in the form of single-dose drops - Ophthalmic Suspension UD 2%.
- The release form UD (Unit Dose) means individual containers (ampoules) for single use.
- The volume of each ampoule is 0.3 ml.
- Suspension of white or whitish-turbid color, shaken well.
