Active ingredient

Methylprednisolone is a synthetic glucocorticosteroid with potent anti-inflammatory and immunosuppressive effects.

Dosage
  • Initial dose for adults: from 4 mg to 48 mg of methylprednisolone per day, depending on the disease and the patient's response to therapy.
  • Maintenance dose: determined individually by gradually reducing the initial dose to the minimum effective dose.
  • How to use: tablets are taken orally, drinking enough water, preferably in the morning to mimic the natural circadian rhythm of cortisol secretion.
  • Children: dosage is calculated based on body weight or body surface area; consultation with a physician is recommended to determine the exact dose.
