LEUCON INJECTION 20 mg/2 ml
LEUCON INJECTION is an injectable preparation containing levocarnitine (L-carnitine), also known as vitamin B₄. Levocarnitine is essential for fatty acid metabolism and cellular energy production.
Indications for Use:
- Primary and secondary carnitine deficiency: Conditions associated with inadequate levels of carnitine in the body.
- Disorders of fatty acid metabolism: Diseases involving impaired transport of fatty acids into mitochondria.
- Myopathies and cardiomyopathies: Associated with carnitine deficiency.
- Cerebral hypoxia: Acute conditions such as ischemic stroke or transient ischemic attacks (TIAs).
- Dyscirculatory encephalopathy: Chronic cerebral circulatory disorders.
- Recovery period: Following surgical interventions or brain trauma.
Contraindications:
- Known hypersensitivity to levocarnitine or any other components of the drug.
- Pregnancy and breastfeeding: Use only under strict medical supervision and when clearly indicated.
Side Effects:
- Gastrointestinal: Nausea, vomiting, diarrhea, abdominal pain.
- Allergic Reactions: Skin rash, pruritus (itching), urticaria (hives).
- Other: Weakness, dizziness, hypotension (low blood pressure).
Special Instructions:
- Use with caution in patients with kidney or liver diseases.
- If side effects occur, discontinue the drug and consult a healthcare provider.
- Storage: Keep out of reach of children. Store at a temperature not exceeding 25°C.

Injection solution in 2 ml ampoules. The drug is administered intramuscularly or intravenously.
