Dosage

LEUCON INJECTION 20 mg 2 ml is an injectable preparation containing the active substance levocarnitine (L-carnitine), also known as vitamin B₄. Levocarnitine plays a key role in fatty acid metabolism and cellular energy metabolism.
Indications for use:
- Primary and secondary carnitine deficiency: conditions associated with insufficient carnitine levels in the body.
- Disorders of fatty acid metabolism: diseases in which the transport of fatty acids into the mitochondria is impaired.
- Myopathies and cardiomyopathies associated with carnitine deficiency.
- Cerebral hypoxia: acute conditions such as ischemic stroke or transient ischemic attacks.
- Dyscirculatory encephalopathy: chronic disorders of cerebral circulation.
- Recovery period after surgical interventions and traumas of the brain.
Contraindications:
- Hypersensitivity to levocarnitine or other components of the drug.
