Adults: usually administer 1 ampoule (1 mg) intramuscularly or intravenously once daily.

Biotin for Injection 1 mg/2 ml is a preparation containing biotin (vitamin H or B7) intended for parenteral administration. Biotin plays a key role in the metabolism of carbohydrates, fats and proteins, and also contributes to the health of skin, hair and nails.

Form of release:

  • Solution for injection: ampoules of 2 ml containing 1 mg of biotin. 

Indications for use:

  • Biotin deficiency, manifested by hair loss, brittle nails, dermatitis and other skin diseases.
  • Diffuse alopecia of non-hormonal etiology.
  • Growth disorders of hair and nails.

Dosage and method of administration:

  • Adults: usually prescribe 1 ampoule (1 mg) intramuscularly or intravenously once a day.
  • Children: the dosage is determined by a doctor individually.
