Actosin ointment 3% is an antiviral agent for external use containing the active substance oxolin. Oxolin has virulicidal activity against influenza viruses, herpes viruses, adenoviruses and other causative agents of viral infections.

Indications for use:

• Treatment of warts (common, flat and acute condylomas).
• Treatment of shingles, molluscum contagiosum, Duhring's dermatitis herpetiformis and psoriasis (as part of a complex therapy).

Method of application and dosage:

• Warts and condylomas: apply the ointment to the affected areas of the skin 2-3 times a day for 2 weeks to 2 months. To enhance the effect is recommended after applying the ointment to apply an occlusive dressing with wax paper.

Side effects:

• Burning sensation at the site of application.
• Dermatitis.
• Easily washable blue coloration of the skin.

Contraindications:

• Hypersensitivity to the components of the drug.

Special Instructions:

• Use in pregnancy and during breastfeeding is contraindicated.
