Active ingredient
Sildenafil citrate.
Dosage
Each tablet contains 25 mg of sildenafil citrate.
The recommended starting dose is 25 mg (1 tablet).
Depending on tolerability and effectiveness, the dose may be increased to 50 mg or 100 mg, but not to exceed 100 mg per day.
No more than one tablet within 24 hours.
Indications for Use
Cenforce 25 mg is indicated for the treatment of:
- Erectile Dysfunction (ED): The inability to achieve or maintain an erection sufficient for satisfactory sexual activity.
Contraindications
- Hypersensitivity to sildenafil or any other components of the product.
- Concurrent use with nitrates (e.g., nitroglycerin) or nitric oxide donors due to the risk of severe hypotension.
- Severe cardiovascular conditions, such as unstable angina, uncontrolled hypertension, severe heart failure, recent myocardial infarction, or stroke.
- Severe hepatic impairment or end-stage renal disease.
- Conditions where sexual activity is contraindicated, such as severe heart diseases.
- Hereditary degenerative retinal disorders (e.g., retinitis pigmentosa).
Adverse Effects
Common side effects:
- Headache, facial flushing, or hot flashes.
- Dizziness.
- Nasal congestion.
- Indigestion or nausea.
- Temporary visual disturbances, such as increased sensitivity to light, changes in color perception, or blurred vision.
Rare but serious side effects:
- Priapism (prolonged and painful erection).
- Sudden loss of vision or hearing.
- Severe hypotension or fainting.
- Allergic reactions, such as swelling of the face, lips, tongue, or throat.
Recommendations for Use
Administration:
- Tablets are taken orally with a small amount of water, approximately 30–60 minutes before anticipated sexual activity.
- The medication is effective for 4–6 hours.
Precautions:
- Avoid taking the medication with alcohol or fatty foods, as this may reduce effectiveness.
- Use with caution in patients with anatomical penile deformities (e.g., Peyronie’s disease) or those predisposed to priapism.
- Patients with cardiovascular conditions should consult a healthcare provider before use.
