Actosin Ointment 3% is an antiviral topical agent containing the active ingredient oxolin. Oxolin exhibits virucidal activity against influenza viruses, herpesviruses, adenoviruses, and other pathogens of viral infections.
Indications for Use:
- Purulent dermatoses.
- Pressure ulcers (bedsores).
- Other skin infections requiring antiseptic or antiviral treatment.
Contraindications:
- Hypersensitivity to oxolin or any other components of the ointment.
Side Effects:
- Rarely, allergic reactions such as skin rash or pruritus (itching) may occur.
